Rush is a special ability which premiered in SD11. Rather than being restricted to a particular color, like most other special abilities, it is restricted to dark spirits. Charge is its light counterpart.

Rush encourages mixing colors, as it requires keeping a different color symbol on your field to activate, designated on the card. Similarly to a nexus, for as long as you have the conditions fulfilled, the rush effect remains active. The actual effect of rush varies from spirit to spirit.

Currently, these are the known symbol conditions:

Canon coloursEdit

Red: Purple Symbol

Purple: Yellow Symbol , Red Symbol

Green: Blue Symbol

White: Green Symbol

Yellow: White Symbol

Blue: Red Symbol

Dark-Gadphant

[LV1][LV2] (When Summoned) Return 1 opposing spirit with 2000BP or less back to your opponent's hand.

[Rush(Condition:Green Symbol)] While you have a green symbol, the effect below remains active.

Green: Move 1 core from the void to this spirit.

This means after you resolves the when summoned of this spirit, if you fulfill the rush condition, you can activate it

Dark-Caribou

[LV2] (When Blocks) Move 1 core from the void to this spirit.

Rush(Condition:Green Symbol)] While you have a green symbol, the effect below remains active.

Green: Exhaust 1 opponent's spirit.

This means after you resolve the when blocks of this spirit, if you fulfill the rush condition, you can activate it
